The International Planned Parenthood Federation, East and South East Asia and Oceania Region (IPPF ESEAOR)'s Pacific Team, based in Suva, Fiji (Sub-Regional Office for the Pacific – SROP), is seeking a qualified, experienced, motivated, and passionate candidate to join us as a Project Officer, Capacity Development (ODM).

The purpose of this position is to provide the required project management and capacity building support for the implementation of IPPF’s Niu Vaka Pacific Strategy, including IPPF’s organisational requirements under its core funding.

This role calls for the officer to:

  • Evaluate all areas of capacity development in both SROP and the MAs and develop recommendations for either improvement or change, particularly with regard to core-funded activities.
  • Assist the Organizational Development Manager (ODM) to carry out MA capacity assessments and developing a plan of action from the findings. 
  • ensure that all core reporting and compliance requirements are completed on time and will support MAs to complete these.

Interested candidates should have:

  • A degree in Social sciences or Management or related field 
  • At least a 3 years working experience in a similar position in any organization, preferably a civil society organization or Pacific development sector.
