The purpose of this consultancy is to support IPPF Member Associations (MAs) to improve their ability to respond adequately in all areas of the supply (from quantification to delivery) in an emergency context. The principles of supply chain management will underpin all activities undertaken (the right goods, in the right quantities, in the right condition to the right place at the right time for the right cost). The consultant will work with both regional level and country level actors (with either the logistics focal point, humanitarian focal point or relevant person at the health facility level) to better prepare and deliver SRH supplies to disaster-affected populations. While this role will focus on the Pacific IPPF MAs, we anticipate that the framework and process developed, will be able to be replicated in Asian countries and other regions/countries where IPPF works.
